This recipe is part of my 31 days of Dairy Free Dinners. You can find the entire list of ideas here.
I was hesitant to include tuna salad in my list because its yet another recipe where I don’t measure anything. (Truthfully, I usually don’t measure the majority of what I cook, but have trained myself lately to measure things and take notes.) This is one of the boy’s favorite sandwiches, and Magoo cheers when I serve it for dinner. I make my tuna salad with tuna, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, salt and pepper. We serve this as sandwiches, salad, or with crackers for a snack.
- 4 small or 2 large cans of tuna
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- dash salt
- Drain tuna well.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
- Serve with bread, lettuce, or crackers
