This meal plan is part of my 31 days of Dairy Free Dinners. You can find the entire list of ideas here.
Chicken Burgers are one of my back up plan dinners that I try to have on hand for evenings when dinner gets rushed. I keep both the frozen chicken patties and the buns in the freezer, pulling them out when we’re ready to use them. I have not had any problem finding dairy free chicken patties, just be sure to check ingredients as some brands will use buttermilk in the breading. You can make these according to package instructions in the oven or my preferred method is to put them in our toaster oven for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. If we’re in a big rush we’ll cook them in the microwave, but they end up a little mushy.
Don’t have buns? You can easily serve the chicken patties with a salad or (not pictured) with spaghetti.
Do you use frozen chicken patties? How do you serve them?
