Our second week with Grandma and Uncle Jason visiting was spent almost exclusively outdoors! We were blessed with wonderful weather and all the boys had fun playing together.

Magoo tried his best, but couldn’t quite figure out badminton.

The little boys spent so much time drawing with chalk that our driveway was covered! We kept hoping it would rain so they could get a clean slate to work with. (It finally did rain after Grandma went home.)

Magoo’s new tricycle, an early birthday present from Grandma. He was so excited and figured out peddling much faster than I expected.

Jared usually runs at the gym, but being off work for the week he and Jason went on a few runs together. Bebop and Magoo were fascinated with the stretching process, both doing their best to copy dad.

We even took a trip to the park to play frisbee. Bebop’s getting pretty good. Magoo wasn’t willing to surrender possession of his frisbee.

With extra hands to entertain the boys, I did much more cooking from scratch in the last week than I normally do. Magoo was very eager to watch and act as my taste tester.

We took several “field trips” including Niagara Falls, the Syracuse Zoo, and the Erie Canal Museum. Above the boys are playing in the kids room at the museum (brilliant idea to have a place for kids to play.)
Next week, back to school with mom!
