Sunday, July 29 – A Random Picture
Do you have any idea what this is a picture of?
Yeah, I didn’t either. Jared crawled up in our attic and took a picture of the exhaust fan for the bathroom. We (meaning Jared) replaced the old exhaust fan, and now we have a better fan and a light in the bathroom. I love it! This is the only picture taken on the 29th. We even forgot to take a picture of my belly.
Monday, July 30 – Coloring
Most of the pictures I took this week are the boys playing in the basement. I was trying to get the last few things organized in the school room and gave the boys the freedom to do just about anything they wanted. Magoo chose to color every time I let him near the crayons.
Tuesday, July 31 – Trip to the Zoo
We went to a local zoo with several friends. I bought crackers for the boys to feed the animals, and Magoo wanted to eat them. It took quite a bit of convincing to get Magoo to actually give the crackers to the animals.
Wednesday, August 1 – My Helper
I do A LOT of laundry. I usually do at least one load every morning, and Magoo has learned to help. He will even put Monkey in to get a bath, which is necessary twice a week.
Thursday, August 2 – Playing Quietly
One of the few moments when the boys are not fighting over toys or chasing each other!
Friday, August 3 – Handprints
We had a play date and made handprint animals. (I promise a longer post soon with pictures of the final results.) The kids all had a blast playing in the paint.
Saturday, August 4 – Playing with Legos
Part of my strategy of toy rotation is to provide the boys a “new” toy on Saturday morning. This usually occupies them enough to allow us to have a lazy morning.
