Sunday, June 3 – Pictures before Church

I have decided to try taking a belly picture every week before church.  I didn’t do this with either of the boys’ pregnancies, but though it would be fun this time.  I think this is a great picture even though I don’t look pregnant.  The picture from our photo session is much better (and was taken the day before this one).

The boys wanted to take pictures with me.

They also took pictures with dad.  This is my favorite picture of the week.

Monday, June 4 – What Happened?

This is the only picture I took on Monday, and it’s not a very good one.  I think Magoo is asking what happened to the toys.  We started packing the few things in our apartment to move on Friday.

Tuesday, June 5 – Asleep

Bebop went through a period for most of May where he didn’t sleep well at all, mostly due to bad dreams.  He’s been more tired than normal, often needing naps.  On Tuesday, Magoo woke him (and the rest of the house) up really early.  Bebop made it into the living room and fell asleep again.  I found him like this half way through making pancakes.  When Bebop finally woke up for good, he was cheerful and ate a huge breakfast.

Wednesday, June 6 – Which one is the Credit Card?

Magoo was playing very quietly.  When I went to check on him this is what I found.  He knows not to play in my purse or wallet, so I think he was being so quiet to keep from getting caught.

Magoo had a fever off and on all week as his last two teeth cut through.  When his mouth hurts, he won’t eat much or drink from a sippy cup.  But he LOVES my cup with a straw.  It kept him hydrated, and we only had to change his shirt three times.  Eventually, he’ll figure out how to drink from a straw without spilling.

Thursday, June 7 – My Helper

I was supposed to pack on Thursday.  Every time I sat down, Magoo crawled in my lap and started singing “rock-a-bye baby”.  I got very little work done while he was awake.

Friday – June 8

Moving day!  We closed on the house in the morning, and moved the stuff from the apartment in the afternoon.  Magoo wanted so desperately to help carry things to the car.  First time he picked a pillow and was successful.  Second time he tried to carry the computer and was extremely frustrated he couldn’t lift it.

Saturday, June 9 – A Trip to the Store

We took a trip to Wal-Mart on Saturday morning to buy light bulbs, a bath mat, and a few other unexpected needs for the house.  Magoo fell asleep in the car on the way.  I though he’d wake up so I just carried him into the store.  Normally I’ll use our Ergo baby carrier if I expect to hold him for very long, so I left it in the car this time.  I put down my jacket, and Magoo snoozed in the cart.  He slept almost an hour, waking up just in time to check out.
